Is Bow-and-Arrow Celebration an Act of Violence?

The NFL has once again taken a ridiculous stand in their effort to remain politically correct. And this one just might make you sick.

Josh Norman of the Washington Redskins was fined for his bow-and-arrow celebration in a game against the Cleveland Browns. Reports say that the NFL head of officiating, Dean Blandino, described the bow-and-arrow display as something that “mimics a violent act.”

Are you kidding me???

Brandin Cooks of the New Orleans Saints also performs the bow-and-arrow celebration, and he doesn’t plan on stopping now.

Fines are now being handed out for the display of the bow-and-arrow celebration. Right or wrong?

“I’m going to figure it out, but I’m not going to change it,” says Cooks. “The league will have to deal with it. The reason for why I’m doing it and what’s behind why I’m doing it doesn’t have anything to do with violence. So I’m not going to change what I’m doing to satisfy what the league wants. That’s not what I’m here to do.”

In fact, Cooks reason for using the display actually goes back to his faith. It comes from a passage of scripture found in Psalms 144:6 – Send forth lightning and scatter your enemy, and shoot your arrows and rout them.

So what do you think? Is this truly an act of violence? Where do you think such moves by the NFL and other PC agenda driven groups will ever stop? Comment below, and let us know what you think.
